Identity Management Costs: This estimates annual operational costs for managing physical identities and access. It uses the number of active identities, the percentage of new hires, attrition rate, average staff time spent on access changes and lost/stolen badge replacements, periodic compliance attestations, and the loaded hourly cost for cross section of team members across HR, End Users, Managers, Security, Badging Office, Approvers, etc that would potentially be handling aspects of the process, to estimate yearly spend.
Visitor Management Costs: This calculates annual cost for visitor handling across locations. It uses the number of locations, average visitors per location per month, the average processing time per visitor, audit/validation time, and the loaded hourly rate for front-desk, security staff, Hosts/Escorts, Approvers, etc. and then annualizes the total.
Total Cost: Sum of the identity management cost and the visitor management cost to represent current annual operational spending for these areas.
Savings: Meron applies an estimated reduction (default 70%) to each area β identity and visitor management β to reflect automation, process improvement, and reduced manual effort. Identity Savings = 70% * Identity Cost; Visitor Savings = 70% * Visitor Cost; Total Savings = Identity Savings + Visitor Savings.
